LEEP: Our Education Model

LEEP - Learners Education Evolution Programme is an international education model that entails the best cohesive curriculum where essential life-skills are treated at par with the standard subjects, with a nuanced curriculum and skilled faculty from top institutions to deliver it. These essential life-skills, along with the subjects of literacy, numeracy and sciences, are taught using best pedagogical practices followed around the world.

Scholastic Programme

Our Scholastic Programme aims at developing the aptitude, skills, dispositions and knowledge that enhances the scholarly bent of mind of our learners. Through an inquiry and skill based Scholastic Programme and use of some of the best pedagogical practices, learners develop a strong foundation for Literacy, Numeracy and Sciences.

Fitness & Sports Programmes

Now more than ever, with increased screen-time, physical wellbeing of children has taken a back seat. To ensure that our children develop a lifelong love for fitness and sports, we intend to make fitness a lifestyle for our young learners by treating it at par with standard scholastic subjects. The curriculum has been carefully crafted and delivered in a joyful and stress-free manner by highly trained coaches. This is aided by a world class infrastructure including an indoor sports arena, half-olympic sized swimming pool, cricket pitches, interactive splash pad, jungle gym and soccer field.

Visual Arts & Performing Arts Programme

Visual Arts and Performing Arts have proven to be one of the most vital domains for children to develop creativity, verbal and physical skills, logical and intuitive thinking, interpersonal skills and spatial, rhythmic, visual and kinesthetic awareness. In lieu of this, at Learners we offer a meticulously designed VA & PA curriculum, which holds space for learners to pursue art forms at length if they're so inclined. LEEP allows our learners to pick from an array of arts like theatre, dance, sound, sculpting, cinematography, photography, graphic designing, and animation.

Holistic Well-being Programme

Our carefully conceptualised Holistic Wellbeing Programme ensures that young minds build not only their physical but also their mental immunity to thrive in life with utmost joy. Resilience-building practices, meditation and yoga are blended with the prestigious SEEL curriculum prescribed by his holiness the Dalai Lama. The programme is vital for children, especially keeping in mind the contemporary and future world, and is central to the LEEP model. It focuses on nurturing compassionate, kind and ethical young learners.

Makers Programme

The ability and desire to create and make is innate and universal. However, the process of growing up can often result in adults who believe they don't have a creative bone in their body, nor the ability to make or deal with complex artifacts and knowledge systems. Our Makers Programme is intended to counter this tendency and embed the makers' belief deep within learners. It includes Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Carpentry, Aeromodelling, Astronomy and Robotics, making these alluring fields more accessible than ever before.

Social Skills Programme

Some of the most crucial life skills are the most abstract and intangible ones. Knowing how to work in a team, for example, or have a difficult conversation. Or, for that matter, being able to save money. Through our Social Skills Programme we nurture the indispensable skills and values of Collaboration, Team building, Leadership, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Courage and Conviction, through an activity based approach.

Community Programme

It's often said that, as educators we should aim towards building socially responsible, environmentally conscious global citizens. However, to essentially make this a reality, we need to realise that the above qualities are found in people who feel that the world is one big family, one single community. Our Community Programme aims to help children develop an understanding and ownership towards the world community as a whole by engaging them in practical community building activities to address both local as well as global issues.

Grade Toddlers to Grade VII

We have a specialised Holistic wellbeing programme as a part of the curriculum, followed on a daily basis. The programme comprises daily yoga and meditation integrated with the prestigious SEEL curriculum (Social, Emotional, Ethical Learning) prescribed by his holiness the Dalai Lama and Emory University. Through our Holistic Wellbeing Programme, young learners engage in extensively researched daily practices to cultivate courage, conviction, bravery, self-love, resilience, compassion, and a greater sense of belonging to be able to thrive in life with utmost joy.

All our faculty members are trained and certified to follow and deliver the SEEL prescribed practices.

We also have a team of certified counsellors to take care of the social, mental and emotional well-being and build the mental immunity of our children from a very early age.

The school offers more than 15 sports facilities including Swimming, Golf, Soccer, Cricket, Athletics and an indoor sports arena that houses several sports including Basketball, Table Tennis, Sepak Takraw, Volleyball, Gymnastics and Badminton. The Indoor Sports Arena, a 12,000 square feet facility adequately meets the norms and regulations prescribed for conducting National and International Tournaments.

At Learners we believe that learning and having fun are two of the most innate human tendencies. That is seen in every element of the school, be it the curriculum or the infrastructure. We believe each infrastructural element should aid and enhance the joyful learning process of our children. To ensure this, we conceptualised and created a unique experience for our children through the Learners Fun 'n' Learn Bus.These are air-conditioned buses with a comfortable spacious sitting and tables to have food or engage in fun activities and games. These buses also come with an attached washroom and pantry facility to make the route convenient for our children. Buses ply on all major routes in Noida and South Delhi. More information and detailed route plan is available at the school office. To ensure utmost safety of our children, the school buses are driven by highly trained drivers, escorted by qualified support staff. A faculty member is also present in the school bus throughout the bus journey of the children.

The school is the brainchild of a passionate team of educators with over 35 years of experience in conceptualising, establishing, and managing some of the finest educational institutions in the country. We have an eminent panel of thought leaders and stalwarts from different walks of life on our Governing Board to help us deliver an education that is truly relevant for the current times and needs. The Executive Board of the school comprises the Director and the Chief Operating Officer who spearhead the organisation and ensure our children get an exceptional educational experience at Learners. The school is led by the Head of School (HoS) and Head of Administration (HoA). In the school's organogram we made sure that the Academic Head i.e. the HoS is not burdened with any administrative activities such as transport management, uniform dispersal, fee collection as these are not the core, but auxiliary activities to the education of our children. However, administrative functions are a vital support for providing a smooth educational experience to our children. Hence, all day to day school functions are bucketed into two heads: Academic function and Administrative function, which are led by the HoS and HoA respectively.
